VIDEO Thong-wearing thief busted for stealing Batman costume from thrift store

Instead of crusading against crime, the man just cruised around in front of the store until cops got him.

The motivation for the theft of the Batman costume by a thong-wearing man baffles local cops.

No wonder he wanted to wear a mask.

A caped-crusader wannabe who stole a Batman costume from a shop in Australia, after he entered the store wearing just a thong, has been arrested.

The Bruce Wayne fan had strolled into the second-hand store in New South Wales wearing just a G-string.

The man then walked around in front of the store until police arrested him.

He then picked out a Batman costume, changed into it and left the shop, reports Metro

Then, instead of fighting crime, he strutted around outside the store where he was seen on security cameras.

“It was very unique. Most people will at least try to rob you with their clothes on, surely,” said the store owner Michelle Rowe.

A bungling batman turned caped crusader while allegedly robbing a second-hand store near Newcastle, Australia.

“It was pretty strange… he walked in just wearing a G-string.”

He also picked out a Batman doll.

The man will appear in court later this week.

Watch The Spread of Walmart Across The Country In One Horrifying GIF

When big box stores (I’ll leave it to you to decide just WHICH big-box stores) come to town, they almost always shut down all the mom-and-pop stores in the area they open in. And it’s a pretty simple formula:

1) Move in.

2) Open doors with lower prices than anyone else.

3) Get employees on welfare and Medicaid because you don’t want to pay well or provide medical insurance.

4) Force smaller shops out of business.

5) Raise prices, because now you’re the only game in town.

6) Rinse, repeat 15 miles down the road.

I’ve heard some say, “capitalism works this way, and great for the owners of [INSERT_BIG_BOX_STORE_HERE] that they’re able to do so well because at least they create jobs.” To them I say, “At what price?
Note: This map only goes to 2006; it’s much worse now, believe it or not.

Florida Walmart Sells Family Steak Laced With LSD

This week in Florida Walmart: one in Tampa sold a steak tainted with LSD to a family four, all of whom ended up in the hospital after becoming ill and suffering hallucinations, according to the Tampa Police Dept.

That family included a mother of two who was nine months pregnant with her third child. The baby was born Thursday after doctors induced labor on the woman after the family arrived at the hospital. According to the hospital, both the child and mother are healthy and were released home.

The Walmart says that it has no idea how it ended up selling a piece of steak infused with a psychedelic drug. The store maintains that all of its meat comes prepackaged and that this is an isolated incident. That said, considering how maniacal Walmart is about its profit margins, it may want to consider that there may actually be a market for selling foods laced with LSD.

UPDATE: There has been some debate on Twitter regarding the veracity of this story. Tampa police say that toxicology results from each victim will be available three weeks from now, so, uh, mark your calendars. Of course, it’s possible that the Moarles family ingested LSD some other way, or that the Walmart steak was laced with another hallucinogen. Or maybe we’re the ones on LSD
