Domino’s Customer: I Wasn’t Trying To Get “Go F**k Yourself” Manager Fired

You may have heard about the recent incident in which a since-fired Domino’s Pizza manager was caught on camera calling a customer a “retard” and telling her that his manager’s name was Mr. “Go F*ck Yourself.” Now the customer who shot that video is saying it was never her intention to get the man fired from his job.

The woman tells WNEM-TV in Saginaw, MI, that her local Domino’s had messed up her order and when her son called to complain, an employee hung up on him. A second call from the woman to the store also allegedly resulted in a hang-up.

That’s when she went to the store, cellphone camera at the ready, and shot the below video with the obviously NSFW language:

As you can see in the video, the manager was incredibly rude to the customer, telling her it’s not his fault that she ordered the pizza incorrectly and generally disregarding her… before launching into the nasty comments mentioned above.

He was fired yesterday after the video became popular online. And while he tells WNEM that he regrets the language used during the confrontation, he says it’s only half the story.

“[I]f people could see everything that happened, especially in the phone calls, they would not be sympathetic for this woman,” he explained.

For her part, the customer admits that things may have gotten heated and that things could have been handled better.

“I didn’t go about any of this to get him fired,” she tells WNEM. “I just wanted his supervisor to know that you need to talk to customers nicely.”
